Valentine's Day

Badminton early thursday morning. 

Really quick shower before heading for lessons.

Migraine but two people came over to add colors to my room.

Long jamming session till we missed dinner. 

Cheers cup noodles at Bruce Cafe.

Thank you for spending Valentines Day with me. 

When you receive a card...

When you receive a card that makes you smile like a fool while reading it at a busstop.

When you receive a card that you will still smile no matter how many times you read it.

When you receive a card that expresses how you made a substantial difference to someone's life

When you receive a card knowing that the person writing it gave you many of her first times.

When you receive a card telling you that when you need someone to be there for you, there will always be someone who will be willing to do it a thousand times over.

That's when you actually realize that you made an impact, be it how small on at least one person.

That's when you actually realize that there's a person who value you more than you value yourself.

That's when you actually realize that this friendship is worth a lifetime of pressure-free commitment.

Revolving Voices

Hanged out with Voices people quite often recently. Headed to Chomp Chomp with Siyi and Edmund on a friday night where I had no voices prac. Spent a quarter of an hour trying to parallel park. lol. Siyi had 2 first times in a day. hehe really cute when she asked about the chicken wing. Teresa joined us supposedly for dessert but we realized dessert bowl was closed! Hence, dropped edmund at serangoon MRT before we headed to Kovan's Ice Edge Cafe.

Dropped Teresa and Siyi home afterwards. The ride back to Siyi's place was quite interesting. This girl actually gan dong at something I do for almost everyone. And she made me felt like I actually can make a slight difference in the lives of others. You know, it's a super long time I really felt like I have that little value in being able to do things for others. 

Sunday night was NATAS fair with this 2 aunties again. Really super aunties who took so many brochures and end up complaining about their heavy bags. The 3D specs scenario was really hilarious. Anw, since it was the 15th day of CNY, we went for tangyuan at Bedok 85! Dropped teresa at white sands before siyi at her place. Made a little promise to myself. ;)

 OK, getting back to saturday. The band people came over to my place to Bai nian! So... patrick, yichen, shermaine and benjamin was at my doorstep. Patrick was blowing some CNY song on his dizi and my bro,my mum and I were thinking why each other so noisy until.... my mum opened to door to see what's happening. haha. Edmund came later, apparently he say he's the wealth god.

Anw, we shredded our own carrots and cucumber for our yusheng! quite fun i must say. mum made dumpling/gyozas. then we started jamming with patrick on the dizi and edmund on yichen's guitar. heh. my mum was obviously amazed by patrick. went out to the garden with shermaine for awhile to talk abit before going in to jam on the piano. Realized my keyboard can act as drums!

Patrick and yichen left while the remaining 3 and i waited for my parents to come back beforei drove them to paya lebar mrt. Had super long whatsapp convo with shermaine afterwards. from sober became alien convo. crapped nonsense that actually made sense. LOL.  oh not to mention that i bought a mic. heh. Love this girl! I don't care but I'm claiming her to be my alien twin. haha.

That's more or else what's been happening when my life is about voices. :)

人生中的人

Out of the many new people I met during enterprise week, I can say I'm closest to her.

I've just been thinking why issit that in life, we meet many people, we make many friends but we are closer to some than others? What exactly is the factor that brings people together?

And then, I was just wondering, do we ever remember every single person we meet in our lives? According to her, One thing I learnt is that 凡走过必留下痕迹.... (让你毕生难忘。) Maybe we won't be able to Remb every single one forever till eternity but, each person will indeed, leave a mark in our lives somewhere, somehow, somewhat.

So... The point is, the shadows we left in the lives of others, do we want it I be good or bad? Well, we don't have to leave a legacy but at least, I try to be a person that others will remember me for the smallest thing. I don't need all the credit in the world. As long as I left a tiny little mark in your life, even for the shortest time, I'm contented it is.

Today, the most touching part was when they boyfriend told me that she will mention to him about me always helping her. 真的有感动。The fact that I've heard about how others disregard the fact that I'm a 人 and not a 神, claiming credit for not doing work earlier on in the day, that was really really the most heartwarming words I heard for this evening.

I don't need to leave a legacy, as Long as I've left a small little impact on your life, that's all that matters.

And so, conclusion? Well, in life, we meet people for different reasons. Just like in this case, I've learnt quite abit from her, be it scrapbooking stuff to some small life lessons to the small things she doesn't mind doing (like buying twister fries, mahjong paper Etc). As for me, I probably helped her in the smaller ways like refilling water? Each friendship made has a reason behind it and what brings people close, I feel, is your destiny.

You're just destined to meet these people on your lives. 身旁的人；家人，旧朋友，新朋友： 都是冥冥中注定的。我，感激不尽。

Enterprise Week

Biz devt's first event for this sem: Enterprise Week. The process of getting it done was tedious and tight but we made it. In the entire week, I met many many new people, be it CSC subcomm members who came down to help or the vendors or even those who came to ask about the bazaar; i made quite many new friends and learn alot about other's life experiences.

I thank every single person that made enterprise week possible. There may be screw ups here and there, or a lack of teamwork or even if our viewpoints are different from the college's, the point is, we made history. The first ever college to hold a bazaar in Utown. We left the legacy and that's something we can be very proud of.

JB 一日游

Went to JB on Monday with Tere, Edmund, Shermaine, Benjamin and Winnie. So, dad dropped me off at braddell MRT. Took the red line down to kranji. Tere and I found out we were both on the same train. haha. Ben was there when the 2 of us reached. shermaine came soon after. Waited for Edmund! Mega late = 10mins. 

First stop at JB: FOOD!!! Edmund treated us to drinks and food for being late. lol we had curry chee cheong fun with yong tau foo.

Then we cabbed to KSL mall. walked around abit before we went to the arcade. See, ben, ed and sherm playing basketball..

while, tere helps to get the stuck balls out... Winnie came and the both of us just stood at the side watching them play... We then played daytona which winnie claimed that i look like im driving on the road myself ( i couldn't catch up with the friend and tere couldn't catch up with me from behind). Photohunt afterwards - we tried to beat Jam Jam who was on the leaderboard.  

And then.... Durian ice cream! haha all of us ate except tere, who thinks durian is smelly... 

Headed over to pelanggi mall and went for 2 games of bowling. haha the loser team have to treat drinks. So initially, winnie, tere and i were losing in the first half of the first game. but then came the tere the superstar, who striked twice in a row followed by a spare. At the same time, the guys were losing their edge. haha in the second game, tere and winnie started out with a strike and so... the results: We won. 

Sherm and I went into a CD shop while the rest sat at the massage chair. So apparently, tere put a $50 note in thinking it was a $1 note... And this was the results - 140 mins of massage. haha. 

KTV was next. It was really super cheap. RM15 for 2 hours..

We went over to Restoran Todak for dinner. Seafood dinner - butter squid, chilli crab, kangkong, mantou  cereal prawn, heineiken, coconut. All for RM 152. Dinner was scientifically eaten. I learnt that elephants can't jump, dolphins gang-rape humans, crabs' pincers are their legs........

Cabbed to Aeon as we wanted to take first link back to Singapore. Here's us while waiting for tere and winnie to come back from their walk. The rest then went to have black ball while winnie and i went for another walk around jusco.

Here's us supposedly waiting for the bus that brings us back to the customs, only to realize that there's no more bus... So... cabbed back to city square and bus-ed back through second link.

We took a bus back to kranji mrt and I shared a cab back with ben and tere back home. the taxi fare was like a OMG, never see such a huge figure before but anw, i reached home at about 1am. The day was just really damn awesome! 

2013 Resolutions

HAPPY 2013!!!!

Haven't really set resolutions for the past 2 years but this year, I have quite alot of things i want to accomplished! So.... here are my New Year Resolutions:

1) Pull C.A.P up till a least 3.8-3.9 

2) Apply and get in NOC.

3) Learn a 3rd language

4) Improve on singing and have an appearance during starbucks gig

5) Improve drum skills + master cajon!

6) Have a regime and to be disciplined keeping to it!

7) Exercise more to lose tummy fats.

8) Spend more time with loved ones. :)

9) Have more photography opportunities. 

10) Be more active and get to know more close friends.

11) Travel to 4 different countries.

12) Attend summer school. 

Hope to be able to achieve all of this by the end of 2013! Time to plan my life ahead! 

Samantha's Birthday

Fetched Liyin from Parkway before heading to The Cathay to meet Sam and Yating! I keep driving the wrong way so we reached at 8pm. LOL

 Parked and decided to just go down and surprise her before the 4 of us head somewhere else for dinner. 

 Managed to surprise the birthday girl with cupcakes from twelve cupcakes and hello kitty balloon. 

 Had dinner with liyin while the 2 girls queued to see Ke Zhen Dong. 

 Went to starbucks to get 1-for-1 drink!

世界末日

如果今天真的是世界末日，最后一件事你会想做什么？我很想感激我身旁的人。家人，朋友和我所碰见过的人。因为你们，生活才精彩。

原点

昨天，约了一位朋友叙旧。自己迟到了，也因此紧张了。 刚见面时，他走的好快，似乎有点生气。但不久后，他露出了微笑，问我还是否要先吃午餐。

Mos Burger. 他替我付了钱，替我到柜台查问是否漏了一碟salad。其实，我不记得食物的味道，只记得一些谈话的内容。一位穿着军装的男生走进了餐厅使我们讨论了一下他会见的女生的身份。

Perks of a wallflower. 他偶尔会转头看看我，而我也不知不觉的转头看看他。戏院里，很冷很冷。戏的情节把我弄哭了。但一切都是美好的。

Ben & Jerry's. 我的第一次，是他带我去的。自从那一次，我也只回去过两次。之前都不想回到那里，因为第一次和他的回忆太难忘记了。这次再度和他回去，是很不一样的感觉。我们似乎又回到了原点，一切都重头再来。不一样的事，我们都经历过了3年的历练。

The way home. 从The Cathay 走去Bugis MRT.说的话很多很多。有那么一刻，我好希望那段路可以再遥远一点。那么，我们就可以这样一直聊下去。

我希望3年的分离能制造出美好的回忆，真的。

高估

太高估自己了。其实，只是个小小的人，想要有那么一点点的能力，能够去改变一些渺小的事。可是，往往被人利用。自己的冷静被他人当做出气的好管道。到头来，什么都做不到，什么都改变不了，因为别人眼里，我只是用完就扔一旁的工具。不是我不明白，是不想明白: 我还真得，没什么出息。终于，领悟了。

Mint Toy Museum

Finally started my holidays today! First time feeling like its December! Waited for Tere at Paya Lebar MRT. We saw Shermaine before heading to Bugis. Walked to the Mint Toy Museum and spent about an hour at the museum! 

Tere was hungry so we decided to go look for food. We found this place Saveur through her phone app and it was good! Funny fact: the portion of the Starters is bigger than the main course. But overall, the food was quite cheap and worth the funny. Try it out if you want a light meal.

She was still hungry so we decided to go to Bugis Plus to look around. Settled for Oyster Mee Sua and luckily, she told me about MPE. Managed to do my MPE thankfully.

Next was Ah Chew Dessert! Had my papaya white fungus as usual. But kinda tasted different. the almond taste was pretty strong.

We then took a train to Clarke Quay and walked around abit. We shared Ice-cream and some parts was HTHT topics. haha. Had a tour around all the clubs and bars area and saw some interesting ones. Sat down for awhile to listen to the Homerun theme song before walking back to Central. Anw, this girl saw the poster for some beer promotion and stopped. hahaha caught in action!
