So i was given two free tickets by iWeekly to attend Fish Leong's music showcase on 12th March at ST James Powerhouse. I brought Kimying along for this event. My dad fetched kimying at Paya Lebar and sent us there. We reached at about 540pm.
We went to collect the tickets and queued in the super long line of people.
While we were taking photos with the ticket, there were two guys, one with those super pro cameras you see at mediacorp, came over and asked if we could say something for them. So of course we said something. I mean, cannot reject right? Basically i was the one whole spoke mainly on like how Fish Leong didnt have any concert in Singapore since 2007 so I am pretty excited for it and kimying said like she really very happy to be here and the ending, we both had to said Thankyou Singtel Am. This short video that they film, we had to take it 3 times! NGs man. By the third time, i very pekchek alr. I think my first two times much better than the last one. haha but oh well, it was a good experience.
So after the filming, we continued taking pictures. And the cameraman actually went down the line to film the crowd two or three more times. I told Kimying to turn when the camera turn, she really turn and the camera went past her face! haha.
You can download Fish Leong's song on Singtel Am. Her songs are really nice and worth listening to!
So we went in at bout 6.10pm. Jiafa from FM YES93.3, was the emcee for the event.
Just a picture right before Fish came out.
She started off the event by singing her 主打歌: 情歌没有告诉你 from her latest album.
Then there was some chat between Jiafa and Fish as well as some games in between. There was this guy who even 表白 to a girl on stage. Oh then there came the segment where Fish sang songs from her previous album. Its like a medley accompanied by a pianist and a violinist.
Some songs she sang was 可惜不是你,崇拜, songs that was on the charts previously.
So the concert ended at around 7.15pm and me and kimying started taking pictures outside. We stood for close to 2 hours. Our legs were really tired!
Okay, so we decided to head to VivoCity for some shopping plus dinner. We walked around all the way to HarbourFront and decided that we shall head to Clarke Quay for dinner....
Kimying brought me to this ramen place. They only have like 5 types of Ramen but its super long queue cos its good! This is the chicken ramen i ordered!
