这次比赛，感触特别多.... 情不自禁的感觉有点不真实... 一切都发生得太快了.
两个月前，刚返回华乐团
一个月前，加排又加排
一个星期前，改了又改，骂了又骂
一天前，实在不敢相信明天就是比赛了
一个小时前，感觉有点失落因为全都结束了
一秒前，可以再来多一次吗？
The feeling is so surreal...... Its feels like yesterday that all these started. But it ended a few hours ago.
Yesterday night, i was feeling a little excited yet alittle sad by the fact that we are coming to an end. I slept at 11pm, woke up at 2am thinking it was 5 alr, checked my phone and went back to sleep. I woke up at 445am again and slack till 510am. I hardly wake up this early and i must say, i really enjoyed it in some way.
I did my hair, contact lens and my bag before leaving the house at 530am and reached school around 6am. We had some warm up ourselves before ding came to rehearse with us. She only had half an hour but she spent about 25mins on Yang Fan! only 5 mins for huang he!
We then moved the instruments onto the lorry while the rest went to the fountain to board the bus. We headed for SCH. in the bus, we were eating bread before deanna started helping all the daji girls to put makeup. she is really the pro!
Reached SCH, it was still pretty early. So i was going between the concourse and the cargo life area. Talked to many people, zihui, wenleng and mr yeo etc. Lent xinling a pin and off they go to tuning room. I saw huiyi as well.
While at the cargo lift, we waited to go up and took pictures. Went up and we still had time because the competition haven even started yet. I saw wu laoshi and mr yeo talking to i walked towards them. so they had a little chat about me like wu laoshi say im not bad while mr yeo give that diao face. Then i started talking to mr yeo when wu laoshi went to the other side. We talked about KC and NYJC. I told him i not bad one okay, must like thank him cos he was the first one to reconmend me join percussion? then mr ngoh came and he really so funny. I tried to test him see he remember which school im from and he was like, that one la that one. LOL. While talking to mr yeo, one of the girls from NUS high school came over and told me yeo: "老师，她们的打击乐很多leh，好恐怖." And he was like, they fake fake one, for show only. since i wanted to be nice, i just nod my head and say ya ya, true true.LOL.
then went to the toilet and talked to zhiming, deanna and yuxin. Then NUS high school went on stage, and i was talking to wu laoshi. Recounted how i cried last syf, how we gonna set up daji interest group etc. then we were commenting on their yang fan... not very good i must say. they only have 24 people！
then our turn to go up stage, the first person i saw was Mr lee! then moved the yun luo and took our mallets out. While walking to the glock, ding was just infront downstage so i gave her the thumbs up sign! hehehe. Then we started performing. Omg, srsly, my hand was shaking when we started yang fan! i so scared cannot hit man! lucky still okay. then yang fan the middle section i missed a few notes here and there but not too bad. at the end i really smiled cos very 感动.
then huang he, started not bad but got one part alittle messy. then at the end, omg, i dont know why but the timpani the note not right! scare me! lucky it sounded okay in the recording! and i think i did alright. cleared the stage and that was the end of our performance. 台上一分钟，台下十年功.
then we cleared and went down. the lorry haven come so we waited. i went to the front to get my bag from zihui and CO was taking a photo! with mr kwek, ms chee and the instructors and teachers. so i just joined in. After the photo, ding laoshi gave me a hug, i nearly cried. So 感动really! then i went back to the cargo area. lorry came, i went to clal reinforcement( julian) at the concourse, and i saw mr goh and mr poh! LOL. mr goh's first line was “eh, you still performing?" paiseh. then talk to him, ask him about whether he leaving and say like he always say if don't get gold then he will leave.... took a pic and went back. basically the guys were loading so the girls weren't exactly needed so we headed for the bus.
the bus uncle so annoying, everyone must sit down then he will move. then we watched the recording zihui helped us record in my phone. Nice leh! then ms tan and ms tan was like, can go make a pirated SYF compilation album 11!
Reached by school, move instruments back in CO room. Went to LT4 and slack abit before packing all our stuff and leaving the LT4 to change. LT4, was literally our 2nd home for the last few weeks; i haven been back to the CO room since 30th april. Ms tan agree as well. will really miss practicing in there. Me jumping up and there the step. lol.
Changed and junior were playing frisbee, as usual. =.= then we stayed around for quite long before deciding to head to Marina Sq. wanted to go seoul garden but ended up at manhattan fish market. Treated the juniors with 7 other seniors. deanna treated the seniors but not me. :( haha.
Then went to arcade, played for about an hour before heading to SCH.
Zhiming, Louis and I were giving the privilege of having tickets cos priority was given to J2/Exco. So we could go in. then just before admission starts, mr lin passed me 3 tickets so i went to pass to deanna, yuxin and shiwee. everyone was jammed! srsly, cannot even get out. then in the end, shiwee and yuxin couldnt come in cos their ticket is for morning! LOL. but in the end they managed to. then we collected tickets for deanna to go fetch some ppl in. then we collected 3 more tickets for simon, renyi and huiquan. thought cannot go out but in the end, managed to go out la. so funny, me and deanna will pretend to call each other and answer the phone so that we can go out. LOL.
then the dialogue session was abit long. wasn't really listening that much but heard here and there. the last adjundicator is nice, end the whole dialogue session with just a few lines! haha. then a video by the composer of Yang Fan, Wang Chen wei was shown. He's currently studying music in Vienna so can't come. not bad leh. but he like put his script above the camera, super obvious. then was results.
We screamed at the instance when results were announced. then recorded the rest of the results. This year major shock. Schools like Anderson, Temasek, Duman High all only get Gold. Then Victoria only silver? so unexpected. Oh well, was really glad we are one of the 3 to get Gold With Honours. The other 2 is Hwa Chong and Raffles.
then we starting to go out, somehow, tears start to well up alr. but held on. until wu laoshi saw me then he was like, aiya, 哭了. then we walked down to the open space to take photo. the rest of NYCO came. Ding saw me and she was like aiya 你啊,怎么那么不行啊？ lol. then she hugged me again. then alot ppl came, zihui, wenleng, VERON! then still have huiquan, junxi all came to hug! hehe., percussion took a group pic with wu laoshi and ding then NYCO took a group pic on the staircase. then we 解散. vivian, janice and I wanted to prank ms chen but she refused to pick up our call! so we left. daji was aimlessly walking to the mrt. then at the mrt, we stood there to decide where to go. then ms chen msg us. So we called her. the rest of daji left without us. started off the conversation first.
Me: laoshi, we only got gold leh. *sniff sniff*
C: hah, really?
Me: yeah lor, gold only *sniff
C: oh but how many gwhs are there this year?
Me: Only 3.
C：then gold leh?
Me: eh this year quite alot of gold but i dont know how many......
C: oh... okay...
Me: wait ah, Vivian wants to talk to you
V: LAOSHI!!! gold only leh. like after all the hardwork only gold.
*I don't know what she tell vivian.
V: but it's gold only.. *whining away.
then we passed the phone to janice.
J: laoshi, im fan xiang. yeah only gold lor....
*unknown
J: like that your extension for me is like 白费了....
* Phone comes back to me.
Me: yea so quite sad la....
*ms chen wanted to talk but i interrupted.
Me: laoshi, we want tell you something, you wait ah,
*vivian tells me to put phone in front.
Me: actually..... we got
us: GOLD WITH HONOURS!
omg srsly, all the ppl at the mrt, literally all, was looking at us！then we walked and i talked to laoshi. she say so it's good she never wish us at all. And it is till then that i realized, the reason why she dont want to come watch us, dont even want to reply us when we msg her ytr and not even a word of encouragement the day before syf, was because, she say she very unlucky this year. Whoever she wish, will be bad luck. Like cause she wished band, they got silver. she didnt even wish ms tan or anyone of the CO teachers as well.
My reaction was like, please, it is not accurate one lor. and she isn't convince about it. anw, we talked in the train and when we were at raffles place, we can hear her but she can't hear us. so she keep saying hello? 喂? 我听不到你们? for like quite long sia! Like one station's time. then when we reach raffles place then we were like, sorry we underground. so funny keep hearing her saying hello. lol. vivian alighted at city hall and i took train to kembangan before dad fetched me home.
That's about the itineary for today? reflections soon.... :)
