201011 BDAY PART 6!

Went to sch at about 11am to take polaroids with the daji girls. Then, consultation with ms V and then Mr Ducro... GP consultation ended late cos we were chatting as well. So i had no choice but to cab down to parkway. I was supposed to meet ms sim at 330pm and i only left at 330pm! LOL! anw, the uncle drove wrongly and restarted the meter! when we reached parkway, he even round down the amount payable for me! haha. cab fare wasn't expensive. less than $10. i used to pay like $15 so this time not bad alr. hehe

went to Toby's The Dessert Asylum for tea as celebration for my belated bday. Ordered an apple pie with lavender earl grey while ms sim had a hazelnut pie.

Chatted for about an hour about all sorts of things. haha. then mike came and i had to leave for tuition.

Overall, it was a good meetup! Honestly, i was abit surprised when she texted me a bday message.. Cos..... from the past few years, she didn't remb my bday but she did this year! hahaha. okay, not complaining but just felt great bout that! LOL.

Graduation

141011 Graduation Day

Waited for Graduation for a really long 3 years.. Finally, it's here. I was really excited for it.....

Woke up at bout 6am and reached sch ard 715am. Suppose to meet jingyi and sam to finish up the boards but they were late! So i blowed a balloon in the classroom and in burst! Luckily, Wip came and she helped me with the balloons.. Soon, pau, ada, bella, jingyi, sam and many came...

Headed to the hall for exam briefing at bout 8am and after that, 1032 headed to classrom 05-62. Mr Ducro and Miss Tan talked to us outside the classroom. They gave us this pencil case with food inside and our results slip and after that was a short photo taking and rushing of the boards!

Down to the hall at 10am!

After that, we went to a classroom and prepared our class gifts.. and while waiting, more photo taking.. haha that's me on junkai.. unglam...

Ms Tan came to the classroom, changed into the class shirt and we headed to look for mr Ducro.. hehe. Gave him the board and ms tan the balloon and photos! 1032 <3

Managed to snap a picture with GH.. hahaha. shall not mention much but she will be an epic memory for NYJC definitely.

Then, it was time for Ms Liang's surprise! hehe more like torturing her like that. Junkai and I made her put on the blindfold and we lead her into the classroom... Made her eat the crabstick that i cooked. It is actually an inside joke about her spider crabs.. so yeah, she was super reluctant to open her mouth at first.. she just opened and bite her teeth together. after our persuasion, she finally opened and i put the crabstick in. Junkai was like, are you sure? They drop on the floor leh. alina did you wash your hands? hahaha. funny much. and she didnt dare to bite the crabstick until she realized it was a crabstick...

Torture No. 2. We made her touch tweety bird's 3 strands of hair and told her that it's alive.. Junkai put his hands between ms Liang's and vibrated when i told her to grab. haha anw, she couldn't guess what was it so we decided to move on first..

Torture No. 3. Wei ting whispered in my ear saying that we should make her walk so that she won't know where she is... Instructed her to walk and wei ting told her she was out of the classroom alr. then wei ting say make her squat and do actions like put your hand underneath something when there was just air.. haha. then i asked her to grab and it was super funny to see how she was grabbing air and went like, there's nothing?!!! slowly lowered the balloon down and let her hold the balloon weight. Fast enough, she could guess that its a balloon....

back to guessing tweety bird.. first she touch the head and pau ask her to smack the head. It looked really hilarious. then she touch the legs and went: " It has got legs!!!" then after awhile, she was like, i know what it is alr. it's a tweety bird!

So we took off her blindfold and the first thing she said was, why this tweety bird got wear shirt one? hahaha. the whole thing was super hilarious!!! okay, then decided to take photos! after that, we made her read out aloud the letter she wrote to us! haha. video on facebook...

Went to library to find Mrs Roy after that to give her her board!

then on the way back to the classroom, went to meet mdm ang cos she wanted to see me. She gave me a birthday present.. so sweet.. then called ms lim out and took photos! hehehe. talked to them for awhile... nearly cry man.. It's been so long..... since the 0911 days until now.. There was an awkward silence and ms lim asked if i have anything to say to them.. actually i had something in mind but decided not to say in case i cry! but one thing that ms lim told me this :" you know, i wanted to tell you that next time after you graduate we need not be like teacher and student you know, can be like a friend". it was really random but touched me. I've come such a long way.....

then went to look for Chen Laoshi. She's been my motivation and emotion support all these years! really grateful for everything...

With some of the most important tutors in my JC life... Other than ms tan sy, I've known the rest for 3 years alr and the 4 of them have been helping me alot in this journey.. Ms tan yj have seen me from DSA until now and she's given me so many opportunities even though i screwed up at many times.

081011 Bday Part 4

For an overview of what happened, here's a post on A's blog. Im kinda lazy to type all the details out so i'll just add in from what is missing from here. LOL.

1) okay so we were supposed to meet at 11am at leisure part for kbox but A had to changed it to 1130am.. and just as i was walking to the busstop at 11am, she called to say that J will fetch her down to my place to pick me up. So i went back up and watched some videos till 12 before heading down. J dropped us at vivo.

2) Settled for Brotzeit cos i said i wanted to try and since i've never been there, i left the ordering part for her to do. Well, i always leave food choices to her. haha. so she ordered pork knuckles and sausage and i swear it's damn alot! we didn't even finish the food! omg.

3) OK YES, this german band started playing in the midst of us eating. I was not v much entertained by them at the start. cos like idk who are they and what's more when my back is facing them. So basically i just ate my food silently since it was difficult to talked with all the noise... and one of the performer actually stood up on my chair while another walked behind A and being so into her phone, she didn't realize and the guy honked on his instrument when she turned. epic max! okay then she asked the waiter to help dedicate a birthday song. so this guy from the band came down and kissed me on the cheek. He's freaking sweaty la! omg.. and they sang me birthday SONGSSS in english, german and international. if you're wondering what's the international language, it's basically la-la-la all the way.

4) we took train to promenade cos i couldn't remb which is the nearest mrt to marina sq. so we walked from suntec to marina. window shopped abit since SOMEONE said she's sooooo busy with work that she didn't have the time to shop and hence, being present-less for the day. okay but she gave me a card which was filled with words and more words. LOL. met silin a.k.a noobling along the way and i think i kinda screamed abit. soooo excited to see her. love her lots!

5) while walking to the mrt station at harbourfront, this lady walked straight into me. Idk what was she thinking man. i kinda saw her walking straight into me and i swerved to the side but she has entirely no intentions of moving away when there's so much space! i didn't really have much space to move away to.. okay so the knocking part was alright since like it's so common right. so i said sorry and she just walked away with the same blank face as when she knocked into me. After that, i realized my arm was bleeding! like wth! idk what the woman did but she actually scratched me till i bled! it's pretty serious for a minor knock/scratch. Used tissue to dap and clean the wound at the mrt. Like omg. This lady is way too pro alr!

6) okay, so we went into kbox at about 330pm. our room was just beside the holding room for the ktvclub competition! it was pretty awkward to have ppl standing outside the room looking in and knowing that the rooms aren't really soundproof.... kinda makes it even more awkward. oh well. i kinda went high and started doing lame things in the room... like lying on the chair. but then again, the room so big. might as well make full use of it right! lucky A never take photo of me. I remb we were singing 理想情人 and i wasn't even looking at the screen cos i couldn't see it lying down.. lol. then i think i stood up quite a few times cos for ppl who knows me, i can't sit for long. hahaha. A literally sat there throughout. amazing man.... yup so basically i totally high man. I think if there were more ppl, i might have just picked some random high songs like GET HIGH and jump around the room or something. LOL!

7) I started off with Sammi's 不要驚動愛情. I really like that song alot. A didnt really sing much though. haha cos i think those songs i pick she doesn't really know.... Those she pick are typical KTV songs like 心动, 遗失的美好.... i kinda intro-ed her a few songs. Hope she likes it though. Oh and i realized that alot of the songs can relate to her life story man. haha.

8) okay so i tried to be funny. During Sammi's 唯独你是不可取替, i kinda turned to her and wanted to do the "shen qing" look. But apparently, this dumb dumb here was totally unaware of it. I started laughing and she thought what happened. I refused to tell her and she was bugging me to tell her why. she even went to analyze the song lyrics cos she thought it has something to do with it. So i decided to try again, TWICE and she didnt get it. OMG damn slow lor. So i decided to tell her and she was like oh really? haha. damn funny only. Imagine if a guy does that to her, she's totally ignorant of it. I think the guy will be like wth man. LOL.

Overall it was a really great day! although the original plan of durian plus circle line kinda failed, it was still fun! Must really thank her for spending the last teen birthday with me! hehe. (:

071011 BDAY PART 3

Okay so once i got home from dinner with bella and all, i was uploading the photos and just looking through it.. replying all the bday wishes on fb too when my mum came to nag at me to sleep and i dragged alittle bit longer till 12.30am before switching off the com. while i was on the com, huixian tagged me in this video of her singing and playing on the piano!

before that, she actually texted me to ask if i was home and i thought she wanted to come over but she replied telling me to go see fb later. so yep.

As i sat on my bed after i switched off my com, sam called. It was kinda weird cos she asked me if i wanna go out with her... the convo went something like that:

Sam: hello... happy belated birthday! you sleep alr?

me: haha thanks nope why?

Sam: oh wanna go out with me?

me: okay. when?

Sam: now?

Me: huh? cannot la. you know my mum don't allow me to go out so late one.

Sam: anw, i know you sure cannot go out one la so i left your present at your doorstep.

Me: serious??!! *surprised*

Sam: yes you bettter hurry go take if not later ppl take. oh and i left your place alr cos im in a rush.

Me: oh okok. thanks!

okay so i went to my mum's room and told her sam came and left a present and she scolded me for waking her up. haha then i went to the door... i opened the door and could see through the holes of the gate. Didn't see anything so i decided to walk further front so i could see better.. and that was when...... i saw liyin, huixian and sam standing at the corner of the corridor. I swear it was freaky at first to see 3 figures at your doorstep.. but then again, i was shocked and apparently, they said my face was epic... haha

Okay so i opened the gate and went out..... they bought me this fruit tart which i was supposed to eat at least one strawberry... and after which they said i need to finish all the tarts before i can go back in. funny but ya... so we took some photos and chatted for awhile before they left.. so sweet of them.. Love my girlfriends!

This was when they were waiting for me to open my door.. haha

they didn't managed to capture my epic face but from this one, you can tell that im still shock. haha.

071011 BDAY PART 2

Reached home and my mum gave me my present! So it was this white box of which when i opened it, it contained an 'american express' card. It's actually a thumbdrive that i bought last sat. okay more of like i asked my mum to pay for me.. and then they were saying like im pretty dumb. so there was supposedly another present in that box. I searched for really long before realizing it's a credit card stuck beneath a white piece of paper that my mum scotch-taped onto the box. LOL.

okay so after that my bro and sis showed me some videos they made for me and it was time to cut the cake!

and i suggested doing the big eye thingy! haha

071011 BDAY PART 1

So the day started off with being in school. Took some class photos which will be posted up soon.. Went home at 3.30pm. Ate some macaroni and kong ba bao ard 4pm and went to nap from 430-530pm! dad fetched me and dropped me at nex to meet bella. It started to pour!

Bella and i took a bus to serangoon gardens and walked around in search of good dinner places. Decided to eat at Bakerzin! It's my first time there though. We ordered ALOT of food. I had baked shell pasta. It was pretty interesting cos the top was covered with cheese while inside was filled with gravy! i couldn't finished after sharing a pizza with them! Then we had desserts. Ordered a banana spilt and a souffle. It was pretty good i must say.

Slacked around and chatted till bout 930pm before bella's dad dropped us at the MRT! dad came to fetched me at kembangan and i reached home around 10pm..

We bought books for bella!

oh and they bought me a pair of shoes from new look! hehe. love it ALOT! (:

last hour of 18

Okay, it's 15mins before Im officially turning 19 and i just wanna pen this down..

The start of 18 hasn't been the most awesome one since i spent the day studying and taking the lit promos paper. Then came the bday bbq that i organized myself. haha. After that was just slacking and stuff all the way till holidays and finally, the start of J2.

J2 life has been really hectic and stress. but throughout the past few months, i have grown much closer to some people and slightly more mature i guess? I really enjoy the times although it was pretty tiring. It's something that i'd probably not experience again in my life and i truly am thankful for the fact that it happened.

So here I am, at the last few mins of being 18. Bella told me yesterday that this 4 days is the only time frame that we are the same age. haha well, It's a really funny fact and i just can say, sorry bella, im turning 19th! lol.

the start of 19 marks the end of JC and a new phase of life. Im gonna be chiong-ing for A levels to the best of my abilities and after that, it's one whole month of fun and relaxation. Then Im gonna start the brand new year probably working somewhere that i like and it's just gonna be totally whole new beginning.

As a 18yr old, i may be alittle different from many. I spend my 18th year as a student with the batch of 17th. Some say it's a shame, it's a pity but you know what, we are just one year different but we can click ALOT. Spending my year with them was one of the best things that happen to me.

19 may not be a really special age but you know what, it's the last year where i get to have a cake with only 1 big candle and next year at this time, i'll be stepping in a whole new phase of life in uni and in age. So I know this coming year will be a really great one and i intend to make it one.

Bye 18, it's great having you around with me the past one year.
